• जीवन के प्रति मेरा सबसे बड़ा हुनर यह है कि मुझे बहुत कुछ चाहिए पर कम मात्रा में।
• सभी तरह की लग्जरी और सुविधाओं के सम्मान के साथ सबसे समझदार लोग अधिक सादा जीवन जीते हैं और कम से कम चीजों में काम चलाते हैं।
• मुझे अकेला रहना पसंद है। एकांत से अच्छा कोई साथी कभी नहीं मिला। 
• जीवन की अधिकांश लग्जरी और सुविधाजनक चीजें मेरी नजर में न सिर्फ गैर जरूरी होती हैं, बल्कि इनसे मानवीय मूल्यों के विकास में बाधा भी पैदा होती है। 
• किताबों में दुनिया की दौलत भरी है। और यह पीढ़ियों और देशों के लिए सबसे बड़ी धरोहर से कम नहीं होती।
• ध्यान से देखें तो हर बदलाव एक चमत्कार है, और हर पल एक बदलाव, एक चमत्कार हो रहा है। यह नजरिये की बात है।
